La mozzarella

Authentic mozzarella doesn’t require added salt, as it should naturally have a salty flavor from the milk whether it's made from buffalo or cow. Enjoy it fresh and never store it in the fridge!
At the base of the hill where both homes are located, there's producer known for excellent buffalo mozzarella. Alternatively, a short drive to Amelia will lead you delightful cow mozzarella, available in rounds, knots, or braids.
Zanchi wine celler
Zanchi is a renowned wine producer that has been carefully selecting and harvesting unique grapevines in the Umbrian hills for over 50 years. Their sustainable production emphasizes low yield per vine, hand harvesting, and minimal intervention in the winemaking process, all taking place on-site from vine to bottle. Located just a kilometers from our villas, the winery offers guided tours of its vineyards and cellars, providing insight into the creation of their exceptional wines.
